Mobile Shower Chair ALCY893L for Safe, Independent Bathroom Use

The mobile shower chair ALCY893L offers a practical, safe solution for people who need assistance during bathroom use and daily mobility. It's designed to give the user as much independence as possible, without compromising on safety or comfort.

What Is a Mobile Shower Chair and Why Do You Need One?

A wheeled shower commode chair is a dedicated device combining two functions: safe movement within the bathroom, and comfortable seating during showering or daily use. It's built specifically to withstand moisture and frequent use, unlike a standard wheelchair which isn't designed for this environment.

Key Features of the ALCY893L Shower Chair

Mobile Shower Chair with a Rust-Resistant, Lightweight Aluminum Frame

The chair features a coated aluminum frame that resists rust, combined with a lightweight build and high load capacity — ideal for the humid bathroom environment without worrying about corrosion from frequent use.

Mobile Shower Chair with Large 24-Inch Rear Wheels

Large 24-inch rear wheels give the user easier movement and independence within the bathroom, compared to the small traditional casters that make maneuvering in tight spaces difficult.

Mobile Shower Chair with a Comfortable Seat and Adjustable Height

The chair comes with a comfortable foam seat and adjustable height to match the user's height or the height of a bed or toilet, making transfers to and from the chair easier.

Mobile Shower Chair with Flip-Back Armrests and Removable Legs

The armrests flip back to make side transfers easier, and the legs are fully removable to simplify transport and storage when not in use.

Who Needs a Shower Chair for the Disabled and Elderly?

People with mobility disabilities who need safe assistance during showering and daily bathroom use.

Elderly users who want greater independence without constantly relying on someone else's help in the bathroom specifically.

People recovering from surgery or injury who need a temporary or permanent solution to reduce the risk of slipping or falling.

Families looking for an all-in-one solution that combines a commode-style open seat design with use as a standalone shower seat.

Where Is This Chair Used?

Inside the bathroom for safe daily showering.

Over a Western-style toilet as a practical alternative.

As a transfer seat between the bedroom and bathroom, thanks to its mobility.

In homes and care facilities alike.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the 18-inch and 24-inch sizes? The number refers to the seat width itself, not the wheel size (the rear wheels are fixed at 24 inches across all sizes). The right size depends on the user's body size — 18 inches for a more compact seat, 24 inches for extra seating room.

How much does the mobile shower chair cost? Check the current price directly on the product page — it reflects the quality of the rust-resistant frame and the multiple available sizes.

Can it be used as an alternative to a Western-style toilet? Yes, the chair's open seat design makes it suitable for use over a standard toilet, in addition to standalone use as a shower seat.

Does the frame rust with repeated bathroom use? No, the frame is made of coated, rust-resistant aluminum specifically built to withstand the bathroom's humid environment without corroding.

How do I choose the right size for my situation? It's recommended to measure hip width and add a small margin for comfort, or contact us directly for help choosing the best of the four available sizes for your needs.
